Pillar Wellness LLCEffective October 1, 2026Last updated October 1, 2026

Pillar Wellness LLC ("Pillar," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Pillar software-as-a-service platform, including our web applications, studio management dashboards, mobile applications, and related APIs (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Services as either a studio owner/staff member ("Studio User") or an individual client/app user ("End-User").

1Information We Collect

We collect information directly from you, automatically via your device, and from studio locations operating on the Pillar platform.

  • Account & Profile Information: Name, email address, phone number, password hashes, emergency contact details, home studio preferences, and profile pictures.
  • Studio & CRM Data (Multi-Tenant Context): Franchise and studio memberships, signed liability waivers, internal studio notes, class attendance history, membership status, and contract records.
  • Movement Logs & Exercise Data: Custom exercise names, weight lifted, sets, reps, duration, distances, RPE (Rate of Perceived Exertion), workout dates, and personal progress notes.
  • Payment Information: Payment processing is handled directly by Stripe Connect. Pillar does not collect or store full credit card numbers or banking credentials on our servers. We store tokenized payment identifiers (stripe_customer_id, stripe_payment_method_id) and transaction history.
  • Device & Technical Data: IP addresses, operating system, browser type, native mobile device push notification tokens, app interaction logs, and session tokens.

2How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Operate, maintain, and provide the core functions of the Pillar platform.
  • Process class bookings, appointment reservations, waitlists, and membership passes.
  • Calculate staff payroll rules and attendance metrics for fitness studio operators.
  • Enable End-Users to log, track, and review personal workout and movement history.
  • Send transactional communications, including booking confirmations, pass renewal notices, and push notifications.
  • Maintain security, prevent fraudulent activity, and enforce multi-tenant data isolation.

3Multi-Tenant Data Scoping & Sharing

Pillar is a multi-tenant platform. How your information is shared depends on your interaction with specific studio franchises:

  • Studio-Scoped Information: When you book a class or sign up at a specific fitness franchise ("Studio"), that specific franchise operator and its authorized staff receive access to your ClientProfile, booking history, studio-specific passes, and signed waivers for that franchise network.
  • Private Movement Logs: Custom exercises created by an End-User and individual MovementLog entries remain scoped to the End-User’s personal account and are not published to the global database or shared across unassociated studios without explicit consent.
  • No Cross-Franchise Leakage: Studios on the Pillar platform cannot view your membership statuses, notes, or activity records associated with unassociated third-party studios.

4Third-Party Service Providers

We share data with trusted third-party infrastructure providers necessary to run our platform:

  • Payment Processors: Stripe Connect (for subscription billing and studio payouts).
  • Database & Authentication: Supabase (PostgreSQL database hosting, authentication, and WebSocket real-time data streaming).
  • Hosting & Infrastructure: Vercel / Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Push Notifications & Analytics: Apple Push Notification Service (APNs), Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), or Expo Push infrastructure.

5Data Retention & Your Rights

We retain personal information for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide Services and satisfy legal obligations.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or update your personal account information.
  • Request deletion of your universal User account and personal movement logs.
  • Request a portable copy of your account data.

To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@getpillar.app.

6Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without verifiable parental consent.
