What Pillar does
Schedule and live capacity
Pillar builds the week from recurring class rules, then tracks substitutions, waitlists, and a live capacity count on every class. Front desk staff see who is in the room from the same console they use to book. The outcome is a floor that can fill a class, waitlist the overflow, and swap an instructor from one screen.
Point of sale and retail
Passes, products, gift cards, and contracts land on one ticket, whether the card is present or the charge is on account. Inventory and margin stay per location and sit beside membership revenue. The outcome is a retail drawer that closes against the same numbers as the membership report.
Contracts and autopay
Memberships carry terms, commitments, freezes, and failed-payment recovery. Each agreement is versioned, signed, and stored on the client, and charges renew on the term the studio set. The outcome is membership revenue that continues without a manual billing run.
Staff pay
Rates can follow class type, head count, appointment, or commission. The rate in effect is stamped on that class, so a later rule change leaves history alone. The outcome is a pay period that matches the classes people actually taught.
Appointments and courses
Testing sessions, coaching calls, lab draws, and multi-week programs use the same booking engine, inventory, and payout rules as group classes. A morning class and a mid-morning blood draw share one calendar. The outcome is a studio that sells both from the system it already runs.
Branded booking widget
Members book in the studio’s colors, on the studio’s domain. The schedule on the studio’s site is the funnel. The outcome is a booking that stays with that studio.
Strength progress tracking
Testing blocks and retests are sold as a priced program. Lifts, benchmarks, and body composition stay on the client, so a renewal conversation has the history in view. The outcome is a paid testing line and a reason for the member to come back.
Nutrition
Nutrition coaching is a contract. Check-ins book like appointments, and autopay handles the month. Price, staff pay, and adherence roll up per location, so coaching revenue sits next to the membership.
Supplementation
Supplement retail supports subscriptions and on-account charges at the desk, with stock and margin tracked per location. Those figures sit beside membership revenue. The outcome is supplement income the studio can reconcile.
Bloodwork lab paneling
Panels are sold as pricing options, draws are booked as appointments, and results file to the client timeline. Staff handle the upsell inside the client record they already open. The outcome is lab revenue without a second vendor portal.
What makes Pillar different
Published per-location pricing, and no revenue share
Studio is $159 per location per month, or $127 when billed annually. Growth is $319 per location per month, or $255 when billed annually, and Franchise is priced for multi-location groups. Pillar charges for the software by location. It does not take a percentage of memberships, retail, or the extra lines a studio sells, and payment processing is cost-plus.
Your site, without Mindbody’s new-client app fee
Mindbody’s pricing page says listing on the Mindbody app is free, and that a fee applies when that app delivers a client the business would not otherwise have received: 20% of the first purchase, capped at $30. Later bookings from that client are commission-free on Mindbody’s published terms. Pillar has no consumer marketplace, so the studio keeps the sale from the booking widget on its own site.
Month-to-month at the price on the page
Studio and Growth can be paid month to month at the published rate. Annual billing is optional and saves 20%, and the subscription renews for the term you chose unless you cancel before the renewal date. Mindbody’s pricing FAQ says a lock-in depends on the plan, the billing terms, and any promotion. Pillar’s monthly price is the Studio or Growth number on the homepage.
Testing, nutrition, supplements, and labs on the client record
Mindbody, Mariana Tek, and GloFox are built around the class and the membership. Pillar also sells strength testing, nutrition contracts, supplement subscriptions, and bloodwork panels as products on that same client, with staff pay and margin per location. The front desk sees the next line to sell in the record it already has open.
A Mindbody, Mariana Tek, or GloFox migration on Growth
The Growth plan includes a move from Mindbody, Mariana Tek, or GloFox, including historical purchases. Franchise adds roll-up reporting, per-studio theming and pricing, a named onboarding lead, and single sign-on. A second location is part of the product, with per-studio pricing and staff pay by location.
Who uses Pillar
Pillar is sold to the operator, not to the member. These are the studios the product is built for:
- Independent boutique fitness studios that run classes, contracts, and a front desk
- Strength gyms that sell testing and retests as a paid program
- Pilates and recovery studios that book appointments, rooms, and retail
- Wellness concepts that sell nutrition coaching, supplementation, or lab panels beside a membership
- Multi-location groups and franchisors that need per-studio pricing, staff pay by location, and a roll-up
The team behind Pillar
Pillar Wellness LLC makes Pillar, the gym management software at pillar.software. The product was built for the work after the class is on the books: staff pay, contracts, and the testing, nutrition, supplement, and lab lines studios were already selling in another tool.
A demo is 25 minutes with someone who has run a floor. Studio customers write to contact@getpillar.app. Growth includes migration from Mindbody, Mariana Tek, or GloFox. Franchise customers are assigned a named onboarding lead.
Founder names and personal social profiles are not published on this site. This Pillar is the software company behind pillar.software and getpillar.app. It is a separate business from the Pittsburgh practice at pillarwellness.com, the healthcare platform at withpillar.com, and the coaching product at getpillarcoach.com.
How Pillar works
Studios reach Pillar through the demo form on the homepage and by email at contact@getpillar.app. The Studio plan includes email support. A demo request is answered within one business day with three times that work.
The meeting is 25 minutes and screen-shared, with someone who has run a floor. Franchise customers then work with a named onboarding lead. Studio and Growth stay on email, and Growth includes the migration.
Go-live follows the export. A Growth migration from Mindbody, Mariana Tek, or GloFox includes historical purchases, and the calendar is set from how complete that file is.
Onboarding runs in this order:
- Book a demo on the homepage. No card is required, and the request is not added to a drip campaign.
- Spend 25 minutes on a screen share and map the revenue streams the studio already has.
- Choose Studio, Growth, or Franchise at the published terms.
- On Growth or Franchise, move clients, the schedule, and historical purchases from Mindbody, Mariana Tek, or GloFox.
- Connect Stripe so member charges run between the studio and the member. Pillar stores tokenized payment identifiers.
- Place the branded booking widget on the studio’s site.

Frequently asked questions
What is Pillar?
Pillar is gym management software from Pillar Wellness LLC for fitness studios, gyms, and wellness concepts. It runs scheduling, the front desk, contracts, point of sale, and staff pay, and it sells strength testing, nutrition, supplementation, and bloodwork from the same client record. The marketing site is pillar.software and the product application is getpillar.app.
Who is Pillar for?
Pillar is for boutique fitness studios, strength gyms, pilates and recovery concepts, and multi-location groups that sell more than a class. A single location starts on Studio. A floor that wants every revenue module and a data migration starts on Growth. Franchisors and multi-location groups use Franchise.
How much does Pillar cost?
Studio is $159 per location per month, or $127 per location per month billed annually. Growth is $319 per location per month, or $255 billed annually. Franchise is custom. Pillar does not take a revenue share of the lines the studio sells.
Do I have to sign a 12-month contract?
Monthly billing is available on Studio and Growth at the published price. Annual billing is optional and saves 20%. The subscription renews for the term you selected unless you cancel before the renewal date.
Does Pillar take a percentage of my sales?
The software price is per location. Pillar does not take a share of membership, retail, or add-on revenue. Member payments run through Stripe Connect, and any application or processing fee is disclosed during studio onboarding.
Can I move from Mindbody, Mariana Tek, or GloFox?
Yes. The Growth plan includes migration from Mindbody, Mariana Tek, or GloFox, including historical purchases. Bring the export to the demo and the call maps what comes across. Franchise uses that same migration and adds roll-up reporting.
What happens after I book a demo?
Pillar emails within one business day with three times. The meeting is 25 minutes, screen-shared, with someone who has run a floor, and it maps your revenue streams. No card is required, and the request is not added to a drip campaign.
Is Pillar a medical provider?
Pillar is a software company. Movement logs, lab scheduling, and nutrition products on the platform are administrative tools for the studio. Studios collect their own waivers, and exercise and lab decisions belong with a qualified physician.
